Maternity sessions are such a joyful thing to document! Because pregnancy is a big deal! You’re growing a human in your belly! This will be a beautiful keepsake not only for you, but to show your children. A true-to-life visual of where and how they came to be. To show them they were loved even before they were born.
I know how to flatter your pregnant shape, ensuring that you receive images that you will truly love. I also offer a range of maternity gowns (should you wish to use them). My aim is to make you feel very comfortable, relaxed and beautiful during your shoot. A time to spoil yourself and have a bit of fun. Let’s celebrate this very special time in your life.

Q: When should I book my session?+
Make contact with me when you are in your 2nd trimester if possible. Booking in advance is really important so your special date can be secured. The ideal time for your photo session is between 30-35 weeks of pregnancy.
Q: What should I wear?+
I offer a range of stunning maternity gowns for your session (should you wish to use them) which you can see in use in my gallery. Upon booking your session I will provide you with lots of helpful suggestions and you will be given access to my Client Lounge. You will be able to view further information about your maternity session including a detailed guide on what to wear.
Q: Where does the session take place?+
My comfortable, cosy home studio is located in Heathmont, Victoria. My studio is an easy 20-minute drive from the city, via Eastlink, exiting at Canterbury Road, Ringwood.
I don’t travel to client homes.
Q: Can my partner/other child(ren) attend?+
Yes, absolutely!
Q: Do you provide hair & makeup?+
Currently this service is not offered. I usually schedule your session time for 1pm so you have the chance in the morning to get your hair and makeup done prior to arriving should you wish to. This is something that most of my clients choose to do - and it's a great excuse to pamper yourself and then head out to dinner later looking fabulous!
Q: Can I just have a maternity session, not newborn?+
Maternity sessions are booked in conjuction with a booked newborn session and are priced accordingly. Maternity sessions are best combined with your newborn session to show the beautiful story of your child's journey.
Q: What happens once I book a session?+
Once a date is selected I will forward you an invoice for the session fee to hold your spot. Payment is usually made on-line via bank transfer, easy!
